The second day of ChemBio Finland 2024 has emphasis on the future of talents. It has programmes directed for students and others seeking a career in the field of chemistry and biotechnology. At ChemBio Finland you will meet with representatives of companies who are happy to share their information about job opportunities and give practical tips for career choices in the programme area.

What is the event about?
The Employer of the Future themed day offers you the opportunity to explore career opportunities in chemistry and biotechnology sectors, meet recruiters, listen to the career stories of former students, participate in panel discussions to help you find your career path.
Who is it for?
The Employer of the Future theme day is free for all students. If you are studying in the field of chemistry and biotechnology or interested in employment opportunities in the industry, the theme day is the perfect place for you. The age limit for the event is 16 years old.

You get to meet and discuss directly with business executives and recruiters, as well as create vital contacts for your career. In addition, you will get a better understanding of future job opportunities and gain a comprehensive insight into chemistry and biotechnology industries.
Chembio Finland 2024 bus transports for students
We are organizing free bus transportation for chemistry and bioindustry students to the ChemBio Finland 2024 event from Turku, Lappeenranta, Jyväskylä and Joensuu.
The Student Day culminates in the Students’ After work event!
The students’ day will culminate in a Students’ After work on April 11 at 2 PM. The After work will be held at Paddington Pub in Messukeskus.
During the day at the event, visit the booths of the companies participating in the Employer of the Future Day and collect stamps on your passport! Once you’ve collected enough stamps, you get to enjoy bubbly drinks at the After work event!

The department does separation method-driven research in water purification, biorefining, mineral enrichment and metal refining, hydrogen economy and food processing technology.
